Munich (IP)- On the sideline of the Munich Security Conference and during a meeting with the Iranian Foreign Minister, the Croatian Foreign Minister announced his country's readiness to develop and expand economic cooperation with Iran.

Iran PressEurope: Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian left Tehran for Munich on Friday to attend the 58th Munich Security Conference.

The Munich Security Conference is held for three days from Friday, with officials and security experts worldwide attending.

On Sunday, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian continued his meetings with the foreign ministers attending the conference and met with Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlić-Radman.

Expressing regret over the long-term lack of a joint economic commission between the two countries in recent years, the Iranian Foreign Minister stressed that the mechanism for holding a regular economic commission between Iran and Croatia should be activated to develop good political relations between the two countries. 

Croatian Foreign Minister, for his part, expressed satisfaction with the meeting with his Iranian counterpart, emphasizing his country's readiness to develop and expand economic cooperation, including in the field of food, especially the HALAL industry in Croatia.

The Croatian Foreign Minister also announced his country's readiness to develop and promote cultural cooperation, including language promotion and education in the two countries.
