Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced that COVID-19 took the lives of nine more patients during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 141,262.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to May 20, 2022, 7,229,528 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 7,030,355 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 228 cases, of whom 47 were hospitalized.

706 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 51,942,118 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, no city is red or orange, 259 are yellow, and 189 are blue zones.

So far, 64,476,292 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 57,766,011 have received the second dose, 27,386,218 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country has reached 149,627,521 doses.
