Tehran (IP) - A member of the presiding board of the Iranian parliament (Majlis) has stressed that those MPs whose constituencies have been flooded will describe the situation in their constituencies in the open session of the Majlis on Sunday.

Iran Press/Iran news: Member of the Majlis presiding board, Seyyed Amir Hossein Ghazizadeh Hashemi confirmed that the latest situation regarding rainfall and flooding in different regions of the country will be discussed in detail in Sunday's open session of the Majlis (parliament).

The MP for Mashhad and Kalaat added: "We invited various ministers who are closely involved in rescue and relief operations for flood victims to attend the debates in the Majlis on Sunday, but given the fact that ministers need to oversee the rescue and relief operations in various provinces and they need to be physically present in flood-hit provinces, they won't be able to attend the debates in the parliament."

Ghazizadeh Hashemi added: "Thus MPs will let us know the latest situation as regards rainfall and flooding in their constituencies." 103/211
