US-led coalition forces have killed thousands of Syrian and Iraqi citizens at the excuse of so-called fighting against terrorism.

Iran Press/Middle East: US-led forces have killed at least 1,257 civilians in a so-called battle with ISIS terrorist group in Syria and Iraq over the last four and a half years.

َSputnik reported, the coalition conducted a total of 33,921 strikes between August 2014 and end of January 2019. During this period, based on information available, at least 1257 civilians have been killed by Coalition strikes.  

The so-called US-led coalition of more than 70 countries has been conducting military operations in Syria and Iraq which according to the coalition were aimed against the ISIS. This is while the coalition's operations in Syria are not authorized by the government of Syrian President Bashar Assad or the UN Security Council.

The Syrian media have frequently reported about civilian casualties as a result of the strikes.

The Syrian government has called on the United Nations to hold those responsible for the civilian casualties accountable and put an end to the coalition's unauthorized presence on Syrian territory. 104/203
