Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) warned certain regional countries behind the Zahedan terrorist attack and criticized Pakistan for sheltering terrorists.

Iran Press/Iran news: Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari addressing a farewell ceremony with martyrs of Zahedan terrorist attack on Friday night in Isfahan, said: "The Pakistani government, which has sheltered these anti-revolutionary and dangerous elements for Islam and knows where their hideouts are should be held accountable for the crime that these terrorists have committed."

Elsewhere in his remarks, Major General Jafari said "Iran's patience is not unlimited" and stressed that the terrorists hitting the IRGC forces are under the protection of the Pakistani security forces, Iran Press reported.

The top IRGC commander added: "The Islamic Republic of Iran’s determination will be strengthened by the blood of these martyrs. From now on, the patience that the Iranian establishment used to exercise in the face of such conspiracies and reactionary governments of the region, especially Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, which are acting at the behest of the US and the Zionist regime, will be different."

The IRGC commander went on to say that his forces will definitely take retaliatory action against such attacks in the future.

On Wednesday night a bus carrying a number of IRGC border guard forces in Zahedan-Khash road in Sistan and Balouchestan province were hit by a suicide car bomb attack.

The IRGC’s Quds Base said in a statement that an explosives-laden car rammed into the bus, which was taking the personnel back to their homes.

The attack Martyred 27 IRGC border guards and injured 13 others.

The so-called Jaish ul-Adl terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said on Thursday there are clear links between the terror attack and spy agencies of some countries in the region and beyond, urging Iranian security organizations to seriously pursue the issue. 101/ 211 /205
