Iranian Parliament speaker left Tehran on Wednesday to attend a meeting in Turkey.

Iran Press/Iran newsAli Larijani is scheduled to attend the 11th meeting of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) which will be held in Istanbul.

Before leaving Tehran, Larijani said developing economy in Asia and  confronting terrorism are two main subjects which will be discussed in APA, Iran Press reported.

Larijani's visit follows an official invitation from his Turkish  counterpart, Binali Y?ld?r?m.

The 11th APA meeting will last for three days, starting on Thursday 29 November. Some 23 Asian countries will attend the meeting. 

The Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) was born in 2006 at the Seventh Session of the Association of Asian Parliamentary for Peace (AAPP). In other words, the APA is continuation of an organization which was established in 1999. 101/202
