Tehran (IP) - The chief negotiator of the Islamic Republic of Iran said that new ideas for concluding the negotiations, both in terms of form and content, will be shared with other sides.

Iran PressIran news: In a Tuesday tweet, Ali Bagheri Kani said he had "serious and constructive" exchanges with other parties to the deal, officially known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), in the course of the past week on the negotiations held since April last year in the Austrian capital of Vienna on a potential revival of the 2015 deal.

He added that EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell, as coordinator of the JCPOA Joint Commission, has shared his ideas aimed at facilitating a final agreement."We, too, have our own ideas, both in substance and form, to conclude the negotiations which would be shared," Bagheri Kani, who serves as Iran's deputy foreign minister for political affairs, tweeted.

Iran's President Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi on Tuesday once again blamed the West for the stalemate in talks on the revival of 2015 deal, saying, however, that Iran and the P4+1 group of countries can still reach a final agreement if the opposite side acts wisely.

“The position of the Islamic Republic of Iran is logical and rational and it is obvious that if the opposite side also acts logically and rationally, the negotiations can yield result,” he said. 219
