Tehran (IP) - The Iranian children accompanied by their parents gathered today, Thursday, in Azadi Stadium in the Iranian capital Tehran to collectively chant the "Salaam Farmandeh" (Hello Commander) song. children

Iran PressIran news: Salaam Farmaned is a song addressing the Promised Savior Imam Mahdi (AS). The music has attracted Iranian children and is getting viral on social media. 

The song was not just confined behind Iran's borders but transcended to other countries such as Lebanon, Nigeria, Bangladesh, Guinea, Pakistan, Iraq, and Tajikistan.

There in the song, the children declare their readiness to welcome the arrival of Imam Mahdi (AS) and assist him in the fight against the world's tyrants and maintenance of peace and justice across the universe.

One of the most important religious occasions among Shia Muslims is the 15th of the sixth Islamic month of Shaban, the birthday of the Twelfth and last Shia Imam, Imam Mahdi. The occasion of Mid-Shaban is marked by devotion and celebration among Muslims, especially Shias.

The belief in Mahdi is widespread in different religions of course with different names for the Saviour.

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) promised the coming of Imam Mahdi in the future. From time to time, he would inform the people about the government of Mahdi and the signs of his emergence.

Imam Mahdi (PBUH) was born on the 15th day of the Sha'banf Sha'ban on the lunar calendar around 1,200 years ago.

He is the Promised Saviour of mankind who will reappear as per Divine decree, establish peace and make the world replete with justice as it was full of injustice and oppression before his reappearance.
