Tehran (IP) - The chief of Iraqi Media Net announced the formation of a joined committee between this network and the IRIB of the Islamic Republic of Iran in order to develop mutual cooperation.

Iran PressIran news: Nabil Jassem Mohammad, the chief of Iraqi Media Net and the accompanying delegation paid a visit to Iran Press News Agency on Monday evening in the IRIB World Service.

Nabil Jassem Mohammad, on the sidelines of the visit, in an exclusive interview with the Iran Press news agency, referring to the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Iraqi Media Net (the official Iraqi state network) and the IRIB, expressed hope that this cooperation would pave the ground for increasing contacts between the two sides.

Nabil Jassem Mohammad stated that this cooperation would be in the field of exchange and publication of news stories and various artistic, cultural, drama, and cinematic programs.

In the end, the Iraqi official underlined that the memorandum of understanding that was signed was another step in the exchange of news between Baghdad and Tehran.
