Tehran (IP) - Foreign Minister affirmed Monday that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s visit to Tehran was held within an atmosphere of fraternity and friendship, and it has formed a new turning point in the history of bilateral relations.

Iran PressIran news: Hossein Amir-Abdollahian made the comment in an interview with the Center for the Publishing and Preservation of Islamic Revolution Leader Sayyed Ali Khamenei’s works.

“President Assad’s meeting with Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei and President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ibrahim Raisi conveyed a message which stresses that relations between Syria and Iran are distinguished and inseparable.”

Amir-Abdollahian added that relations between the two countries have taken a new curve lately as they included domains of comprehensive economic, commercial, and tourism development in addition to the military and security track.
