US President’s approval rating among younger generations of Americans has declined, according to a new Gallup poll released Thursday.

Iran PressAmerica: The new poll found that Biden’s approval rating among millennials and Generation Z ( born in the mid to late 1990s or in early 2010) respondents had dropped nearly 20 points since the beginning of his presidency.

Thirty-nine percent of Generation Z respondents said they approve of the job Biden has done as president, a 21-point decline from 60 percent of respondents who approved of Biden’s handling of the job when he first took office.

According to the poll, Biden's popularity fell to 42% in early April, when CBS News reported the lowest number recorded in the network's poll.

One of the most alarming figures for the White House was that 56 percent of independent voters disapproved of Biden's performance, with only 26 percent approving. Democrat officials are also concerned by a collapse in support for Biden among young people.  219
