Iran Press/ Iran News: The ascend was performed for three days on the occasion of Nowruz and under the supervision of Rashin Jahanbazi, an Iranian mountaineer.
The Mostazafan Foundation of Islamic Revolution and the Tochal Telecabin Company sponsored the celebration.
In the final ceremony of the ascent, the friendship of female mountaineers of ECO member countries, which was attended by several Iranian officials, foreign diplomats and local and foreign journalists, the monument "Ascent of Friendship" was unveiled at an altitude of 3,600 meters at Bame Tehran.
Officials at the event also praised the climbers.
In an interview with Iran Press on the sidelines of the ceremony, the CEO of Tochal Telecabin Company, Ruhollah Emdad, expressed hope that holding such a ceremony would further expand the relations between ECO member countries.
The new CEO of Parsian Tourism and Recreational Centers Company, Heshmatollah Ghanbari, who was introduced as the financial sponsor of the ascend, also praised the mountaineers in an interview with Iran Press.
Ghanbari, who was introduced as the sponsor of the friendship climb, praised the mountaineers and announced that he would support other cultural and sports programs of the ECO Cultural Institute.
