Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Monday that 52 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 139,662.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to March 21, 2022, 7,142,289 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,828,714 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 1,256 cases, of whom 283 were hospitalized.

1,936 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 48,802,037 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 29 cities are red, 126 are orange, 278 are yellow, and 15 are blue zones.

So far, 63,764,136 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 56,573,205 have received the second dose, 25,740,475 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 146,077,816 doses.
