Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced that 109 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 139,289.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to March 16, 2022, 7,133,139 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,798,350 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 3,010 cases, of whom 521 were hospitalized.2,360 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 48,465,536 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 99 cities are red, 186 are orange, 154 are Yellow, and 9 are zones.

So far, 63,669,915 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 56,376,750 have received the second dose, 25,436,237 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 145,482,902 doses.
