Tehran (IP) - Assassinating the Iranian scientific figures, the Israeli regime best served to introduce the Iranian scientists to the world, said the Chairman of Iran's Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans.

Iran PressIran news: Amir-Hossein Ghazi Zadeh Hashemi said the Israeli regime imagined that it just eliminated the Iranian noble scientists by assassinating them but in fact, it best introduced most of the Iranian scientist martyrs to the world.

Ghazizadeh Hashemi made the remarks at the 1st national festival held to praise the scientific nobles of the martyrs' families.

The festival was named 'Martyr of Progress', where the Martyr Fakhrizadeh Prize was awarded to the winners. 

The Scientific nobles competed with each other in 14 categories, then in each of the categories, one winner was introduced.   

The Chairman of Iran's Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans said the festival aimed to introduce martyrs as scientific models.

Martyr Fakhrizadeh's car was targeted by an explosion and machinegun fire in Damavand's Absard 40 kilometers to the East of Tehran on Friday 27 November 2020.
