Islamabad (IP) – The Cultural attaché of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Pakistan said that the Iran-Pakistan Institute of Persian Studies is one of the largest centers for the preservation of manuscripts.

Iran PressAsia: Iran-Pakistan Institute of Persian Studies was established in Islamabad 50 years ago; this specialized center has done many scientific research and printing services. Iranian and Pakistani nominees have been involved in these scientific and research activities.

In an interview with Iran Press in Islamabad, Iran's Cultural Attaché in Pakistan, Ehsan Khazaei, said: "The works in the Iran-Pakistan Institute of Persian Studies are unique, valuable, and rare."

He noted that a special ceremony marking the 50th anniversary of the Iran-Pakistan Institute of Persian Studies was held to expand cultural cooperation between the two countries and focus on the Persian language.

Coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the center, a two-day ceremony (February 21 and 22, 2022) was held at the Institute of Strategic Studies in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, with the presence of scientific and cultural figures and Mohammad-Ali Hosseini, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Pakistan.
