Islamabad (IP)- On the occasion of the 50th anniversary, the establishment of the Pakistan-Iran Institute of Persian Studies, a ceremony was held at the Institute of Strategic Studies in Islamabad with the participation of scientific and cultural figures.

Iran PressAsia: Mohammad Ali Hosseini, Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan, Ehsan Khazaei, Iranian Cultural Attache in Islamabad, Azar Ahmad Chaudhari, Director General of the Institute for Strategic Studies, Dr. Hamaneh Karimi Kia, Head of Public Diplomacy and Press Section of Iranian Embassy, attended the event.

Speakers called the Persian language the most important tool in strengthening relations between Iran and Pakistan.

The participants also stressed strengthening diplomatic relations based on cultural commonalities, especially the Farsi language.
