Dubai (IP) – The pavilion of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Expo 2020 is among the top ten pavilions of the event in terms of architecture.

Iran PressMiddle East: Iran pavilion showcase Iran's economy, social development, and culture. It highlights peaceful coexistence and showcases Iran’s ancient civilization and traditions, its rituals, and its people.

Combining traditional exhibits on Iranian art and crafts with an immersive array of live audio-visual feeds, the Islamic Republic of Iran Pavilion offers a real-time look into the life of Iranian citizens.

According to Iran Press News Agency, from the last days of Expo 2020 in Dubai, the pavilion of the Islamic Republic of Iran has been well-received due to its good geographical location, near one of the main gates of Expo 2020.

In an interview with Iran Press, the Head of Iran Pavilion in Dubai, Mohammad-Mehdi Tondgooyan, said: "Although the UAE forecasted about 25 million visitors, according to the latest statistics, this figure has not exceeded 12 million and is expected to reach about 15 million by the end of the Expo."

He described the visit to the Iran Pavilion at the Expo as satisfactory and said that the number of visitors during the busy days had reached 16,000.

Expo 2020 Dubai is the Universal Exhibition that is underway in the United Arab Emirates from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022. Originally scheduled for October 2020 to April 2021, it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
