Tehran (IP) - The Minister of Industry, Mines, and Trade of Iran, in a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister of Oman, stressed the need to strengthen and grow economic and trade relations in line with political ties.

Iran PressIran news: Reza Fatemi-Amin, Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade of Iran, in a meeting with 'Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Saeed', Deputy Prime Minister of Oman for Cabinet Affairs, referring to the excellent relations between the two countries at the political level, stressed the need to strengthen and grow economic and trade relations.

During the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister of Oman for Cabinet Affairs said that strengthening relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran is of a strategic nature for this country.

'Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Saeed', while expressing hope for the positive and constructive results of the meetings of the two sides in Muscat, appreciated the efforts of the Iranian side to strengthen relations between the two countries.

Earlier, Reza Fatemi-Amin met with the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Industry, Trade, and Investment Development and the Minister of Health of Oman to discuss strengthening relations and bilateral cooperation.

The 19th meeting of the Iran-Oman Joint Cooperation Commission started yesterday in Muscat with representatives of the public and private sectors.
