Aliyev calls Iran to participate in reconstruction projects of R. Azerbaijan

President of Azerbaijan has called for the active participation of Iranian companies in the development and reconstruction of the liberated areas of the country.

Iran PressAsia: I am sure that Iranian companies will start active work on the liberated lands soon, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said receiving in a video format a delegation led by Minister of Road and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran, co-chair of Azerbaijan-Iran Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation Rostam Ghasemi.

Elham Aliyev also stressed the need to cooperate between the two countries in various fields, including industry and technology. Referring to his meeting with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi on the sidelines of the Shanghai Summit in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, Aliyev said the meeting was a turning point in relations between the two brotherly and friendly countries and its effects are evident in the development of relations between the two countries.

Referring to the priority of Iran's leadership policy on neighbors, Iran's minister said: "A new chapter in relations between the two friendly and brotherly countries of Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan has begun."

Ghasemi said that Iran has had good experiences in the reconstruction and that the cooperation will contribute to the development and sustainable security of the region, and expressed hope that relations between the two countries will expand further with the severe will of the two countries.

Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development Rostam Ghasemi is in Baku to meet the officials.
