Iran's COVID-19 updates: 51 deaths in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Health Ministry announced on Thursday that 51 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 131,262.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to December 23, 2021, 6,179,817 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,019,343 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 1,932 cases, of whom 311 patients were hospitalized.

2,807 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 41,183,366 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, no cities are red or orange, 53 are yellow, and 395 are blue zones.

So far, 59,385,982 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 50,897,915 have received the second dose, 4,965,334 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 115,249,231 doses.
