As Christmas approaches,

Tehran (IP) - The religious minorities came together in Tehran on the occasion of the birthday of Jesus Christ to focus on reviving the lifestyle of the Saint Mary, wishing peace and security for all, Iran in particular.

Iran PressIran news: The fourth edition of the International Congress of Women Social Welfare was held at Iran's Interior Ministry on the occasion of Jesus Christ nativity, with the presence of Archbishop Sibouh Sarkisian, and Rayan Essa, Assyrian's representative, as well as the families of Christian, Armenian and Assyrian martyrs and a group of thinkers and philosophers, focusing on modernizing the lifestyle of the Blessed Saint Mary.

Describing, the spirituality of the occasion, the speakers all commemorated Saint Mary's and Jesus Christ's status in the world.

Also, they wished peace and security for all, Iran in particular.

They urged people to be united and encourage them to be together.

Iranian Christians, like every other part of the world, celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ (PBUH) in the country. Jesus Christ was born on December 25th, 622 BC, in Bethlehem, Palestine.
