Kabul (IP) – A meeting of the working group committees between the Iranian and Taliban delegations was held in Kabul.

Iran PressAsia: Seven committees have been formed in the working group meeting between the Iranian and Taliban delegations, including cultural, economic, immigrants, political, security, borders, and utilities (water and electricity) committees.

The special representative of Iran to Afghanistan Hassan Kazemi-Qomi and the Iranian ambassador to Kabul, along with Iranian economic officials, attended the meeting on Wednesday, which was attended by Taliban officials, including the ministers of agriculture, refugees, economy, and trade and industry.

Kazemi-Qomi had arrived at Kabul airport on Monday morning with a political and economic delegation and was welcomed by Taliban officials in Afghanistan.

Iran ready to build Afghanistan: Iranian envoy

The special representative of Iran to Afghanistan stressed that Tehran seeks the presence of services, and engineering in Afghanistan to build and activate factories and industry in this country.

Hassan Kazemi-Qomi said that Afghanistan is a rich country with rich natural resources.

He told a joint meeting of Iranian and Taliban delegations in Kabul on Wednesday that others did not allow Afghanistan to develop its capabilities.

He expressed hope that in the new situation, the Islamic Republic of Iran would do its best to help Afghanistan in developing its capacities.

Kazemi-Qomi said that the presence of the Iranian delegation in Kabul was due to cooperation with the Taliban to solve part of Afghanistan's problems.

He also called on the cooperation committees to agree on operational ways of joint cooperation in order to make the best use of the opportunity.

The special representative of Iran to Afghanistan stresses that Tehran seeks the presence of services, technical and engineering in Afghanistan to build and activate factories and industry in this country.
