Tehran (IP) – Head of Parliament’s Economy Commission announced Parliament and Central Bank’s cooperation to settle down the issue of cryptocurrencies.

Iran PressIran News: In an interview with Iran Press, Mohammadreza Pourebrahimi stated: “The bill on cryptocurrencies is being revised by the MPs right now and was read in the open session of the parliament.”

“Specialized committee of the Parliament’s Economic Commission has prepared its draft on cryptocurrencies, held meetings, and delivered it to the Central Bank to further revision,” he pointed.

“After receiving the Central Bank’s report, we will revise the bill again in the Economic Commission,” he added.

“We will be able to finalize the issue in the commission, and raise it in the open session, but since we are getting close to budget revision time, the case will be followed afterwards,” Pourebrahimi concluded.
