Tehran (IP)- Spokesman for the Iranian judiciary, referring to the arrest warrant for some US officials involved in the case of Lt. Gen. Qasem Soleimani, said: "One of the topics of discussion during the recent visit of the Iranian judiciary chief to Iraq was to pursue the case."

Iran PressIran news:  In his weekly presser, said Esmaeili in this regard, "In the meeting that Raeisi had with the Iraqi people, we witnessed the Iraqis' hatred for the actions and crimes of the US government and army."

The spokesman of the Iranian judiciary also stated that the preparations for the establishment of the Iran-Iraq commercial court had been prepared, saying: "In the joint memorandum between the two countries, it was decided to use judicial mechanisms and establish a specialized commercial court in the capitals of the two countries and border provinces to solve the business issues in the shortest possible time and with the help of economic advisors."

Esmaeili also pointed out that one of the topics of discussion during Raeisi's recent visit to Iraq was the follow-up to the case of Martyr Soleimani and that the judges hearing the case were also present at the meeting.

"These judges have ordered the arrest of Trump and other US officials involved in Soleimani's assassination, and the research is complete as well," the spokesman noted.

The Iranian judiciary spokesman added: "It was also agreed that Iran would provide its information to the Iraqi Supreme Judicial Council so that the countries and those involved in the intelligence-sharing could be followed up."

This week, Iranian Judiciary chief Ebrahim Raeisi paid a visit to Iraq, during which he met with Iraqi political and judicial officials.
