Tehran (IP)- Iran's Judiciary Chief said that the country would remain strong and independent alongside Iraq.

Iran PressMiddle East: In a message to the Iraqi people on Monday, Ebrahim Raisi thanked the Iraqi people and officials for hosting him during his visit to Iraq.

Raisi pointed out that the two nations of Iran and Iraq will continue the path of the martyred IRGC's Quds Force Commander Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani and Deputy Head of Iraq's Popular Mobilization Forces (PMU) Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, stressing: "The two nations of Iran and Iraq will take revenge on those who assassinated Lt. Gen. Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis. They will not allow the American occupiers to stay in the region."

Iran's Judiciary Chief added: "The Islamic Republic of Iran will remain strong and independent alongside Iraq and, as the Leader of the Islamic Revolution stressed, the country will support the sovereignty of Iraq and the prosperity and progress of this country."

Iran's Judiciary Chief Ebrahim Raisi arrived in Baghdad on Monday (February 8th) for a three-day visit at the official invitation of Chairman of the Iraqi Supreme Judicial Council Faiq Zidan.
