Iran Press/Iran News: Speaking at the introduction of the international Lt. Gen. Qasem Soleimani sacrifice prize ceremony, Aliakbar Velayati added that the culture of self-sacrifice, martyrdom, and the introduction of self-sacrificing individuals and groups are effective factors to achieve peace and security based on Islamic rules.
Velayati added: "Lt. Gen. Qasem Soleimani's assassination by the US, has moved millions of freedom-loving and justice-seekers around the world to stand against to state terrorism, oppression and the evil plans of the enemies who intend to weaken the Islamic world."
Stressing that the enemies and the colonialists are always trying to seek and implement their interests in the world by promoting the components of soft power, he noted that revolutionary, knowledgeable, and insightful people who, by fighting against the arrogant powers, especially the United States and Israel, force the enemies to retreat and submit to their regional and international decisions.

Qasem Soleimani sacrifice prize ceremony was held at Soureh Hall in Tehran on Feb 2nd, 2021, with the attendance of Islamic Jihad Movement Representative to Tehran Naser Abousharif, Special Aide to the President of the Islamic Parliament of Iran in International Affairs Hossein Amirabdollahian, the Representative of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) to Tehran Khaled al-Qaddumi, Peyman Jebeli, head of IRIB world service, senior adviser to the Supreme Leader in international affairs and Secretary-General of the World Assembly of Islamic Awakening, Ali Akbar Velayati, and Palestinian Ambassador to Tehran, Salah Zavavi, in attendance.
