Iran Press/Europe: Police have evacuated and cordoned off parts of Terminal 1 at Frankfurt am Main Airport (FRA) during the early evening of January 16. Preliminary reports indicate that authorities are conducting an operation in response to the potential presence of an explosive device in the facility.
Residual flight disruptions are possible even after authorities have secured the area.
Published images of the incident also show people leaving the international airport.
German police have not yet provided further details on the suspected incident.
