Pakistan should confront terrorist attack on Muslims: Statement

Qom (IP) - In response to the slaughtering of Shia miners of the Balochistan Coal Mine, the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom stressed that Pakistani authorities had a duty to protect Muslims and prevent terrorist groups and Takfiris from such acts.

Iran PressIran News: Unknown assailants abducted 11 miners in Machh town of Pakistan on January 3, transporting them to a farther point and shooting them all to death.

The ISIS terrorist group claimed responsibility for the crime.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom stated that Shia coal miners' brutal slaughtering in Pakistan's Balochistan Province was a painful and tragic incident.

The criminal hands, the vindictive hearts, and the ignorance and bigotry of the Takfiris are now under the leadership of the arrogant intelligence and security services, and these criminals are shedding blood and committing crimes under the protection of them, the statement reads.

The Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom expressed sympathy with the families of the victims and stressed that Judicial and security prosecutions, as well as the retribution of criminals, are the legitimate demands of bereaved families, and the Pakistani authorities must pursue them until the demands are fully met, and justice is served.
