Iran Press/ America: Jake Sullivan told CNN that the assassination of the late commander of the IRGC Qods Forces Lieutenant General Ghasem Soleimani did not serve US interests.
He stressed, "Iran is once again ready to reap the fruits of the assassination and turn the loss of (Martyr) Soleimani into a long-term achievement."
"Iran sees its missile program as a Red Line and as a means for defending its existence," Sullivan told Fareed Zakaria's GPS. "Incorporating the issue of Iran's ballistic missiles into possible future negotiations is the most difficult task because the Iranians well remember the memories of the eight-year war with Iraq's Saddam regime."
"We believe that new negotiations can be held beyond the five permanent members of the Security Council, the Group of Five plus one, and these negotiations can be with the participation of regional actors," Sullivan asserted.
