Tehran (IP) - The deputy minister of justice for human rights and international affairs said on Friday that 11 Iranian prisoners in Armenia were extradited by the neighboring county and handed over to the justice system.

Iran PressIran News: Mahmoud Abbasi added: "The prisoners, most of whom charged with drug trafficking, had been serving their sentences in Armenian prisons for a long time and they should serve the rest of their prison terms in the country's prisons."

Abbasi said that extradition of prisoners took place in coordination with the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs officials.
