Tehran (IP) - Yemeni ambassador to Tehran highlighted that Martyr Soleimani had thwarted the plots of the United States and Israel regime in the region.

Iran Press/Iran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press, Ibrahim Mohamed al-Dailami spoke about the character of Martyr Lt. Gen. Qasem Soleimani and his presence in the region and struggles against the US and Israel regime plots.

Martyr Soleimani was present in all battlefields, such as Syria and Iraq, to oppose the US-Israel regime plots. With the help of the martyrs and honorable people of the axis of resistance and stability, he could thwart this plot and overcome it dramatically, al-Dailami stated.

In fact, what is called terrorism is an excuse for US interference in the region's affairs. The only possible way to prevent such interference was to confront terrorists and Takfiris directly. Martyr Soleimani and his associates in the axis of resistance succeeded in achieving this remarkably; A success that all countries of the world were incapable of, the Yemeni ambassador noted.

Martyr Soleimani was able to stop the region's destructive cycle; the cycle that the US and the Israel regime were behind the scene. They wanted to intervene more and more in the affairs of the region, al-Dailami pointed.

He also spoke about the victories of the Yemeni army in the Marib front, saying: "Today, what we are witnessing from the victories and successes of the Yemeni army and popular committees is actually taking place in the framework of strengthening their presence in various domestic arenas and against the aggressor countries of the United States and Saudi Arabia and their mercenaries in Yemen."

The Yemeni army is in the third phase of its battle in Marib and is on the verge of dominating the city and destroying the last terrorism and takfiri centers in the region. As a result (God willing) it is on the way to achieving the independence, sovereignty, and dignity of Yemen, expelling all the aggressors and occupiers and cutting off the terrorism and takfiri traces, the Yemeni ambassador concluded.

The late Commander of Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani, who had traveled to Iraq on the official invitation of the Iraqi officials, was assassinated by the US drone attack in Baghdad on January 3, 2020, along with the second-in-command of Iraq's Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) Abu Mahdi  Al-Muhandis as well as eight companions.
