The International Conference on Trade, Investment and Economic Cooperation between Iran and China was held by the International Institute of Iran Industrial Research with the aim of examining the challenges and presenting the latest solutions.

Iran Press/Iran News: At the conference held on Wednesday, over 100 economic activists and related officials from the public-sector and private-sector organizations expressed their views on the development of trade between the two countries.

The Secretary of the Conference Sina Sanjari called for more cooperation and interaction of all institutions and organizations active in the field of export in Iran to maximize the development of trade and economic relations with the People's Republic of China.

Also, Jamshid Nafar, Head of the Export Commission of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA), said at the conference that holding these conferences will help identify domestic capacities and use them to develop the country's activities.

Deputy Director of the International Business Development Office of the Vice-President for Science and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Hafezi, stated that China has become an international economic power by adopting short-term and long-term macro policies and plans in the field of global trade and prioritizing them as well as adhering to them.

He highlighted that China will definitely replace the United States in the near future due to its successful economic planning.

He noted that there are about 5,400 knowledge-based companies in Iran, one-third of which are relatively large companies with favorable conditions.
