Kyiv (IP) - Thousands of small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) protested in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, against the ratification of new tax laws.

Iran PressEurope: Protesters gathered in front of the Ukrainian parliament on Tuesday evening and marched to Independence Square in Kyiv after the presidential palace.

While protesters were trying to set up a tent on the Maidan Nezalezhnosti (Independence Square), the police tackled them.

Under the new rules, in addition to the  Integrated Tax System, taxes on small and medium-sized companies will increase.

The coronavirus outbreak has already bankrupted small and medium-sized enterprises, and many Ukrainians will lose their jobs under the new rules.
