Khorramabad (IP) - At the same time as the outbreak of the third wave of coronavirus, Lorestan province in western Iran is dealing with new restrictions.

Iran PressIran News: The new coronavirus restrictions started from Saturday and will last for two weeks.

Due to the approval of the National Task Force for Combating Coronavirus, all guilds and markets in the city of Khorramabad, the capital of Lorestan province, have been closed, stopping activities, and only the supply centres for basic and essential commodities of the people are allowed to operate.

Iran's Deputy Interior Minister for Security and Police Affairs Hossein Zolfaghari said on Monday evening that more than 85 percent of Iranians had complied with health protocols and smart restrictions according to reports from various parts of Iran.
