Tehran (IP) - The Spokeswoman for Iran's Ministry of Health, Sima Sadat Lari, announced in her presser on Monday that 775, 121 people in the country have been infected with the coronavirus, and 564,699 of the total infected people have recovered.

Iran PressIran News: "According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to November 16, 2020, newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 reached 13,053 cases out of whom 3,133 patients were hospitalized," Lari stated.

She added that in the past 24 hours, 486 COVID-19 patients lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 41,979, and 5,677 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition.

"So far, 5,545,444 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across the country," the health ministry spokeswoman noted.

She pointed out that the provinces of Tehran, Isfahan, Qom, East Azerbaijan, South Khorasan, Semnan, Qazvin, Lorestan, Ardabil, Khuzestan, Kermanshah, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, Gilan, Bushehr, Zanjan, Ilam, Khorasan Razavi, Mazandaran, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Alborz, West Azerbaijan, Markazi, Kerman, North Khorasan, Hamadan, Yazd, and Kurdistan are regarded as red zones.

Hormozgan, Fars, Golestan, and Sistan and Baluchestan provinces are also regarded as orange and yellow zones.
