Iran, Syria discuss implementation of MoU in water sector

Tehran (IP) - The Iranian deputy minister of energy and the Syrian deputy minister of water resources, Nabil al-Hassan discussed ways to implement the Memorandum of Understanding between the two countries in the field of water.

Iran Press/Iran news: In a video conversation on Wednesday with the Syrian Deputy Minister of Water Resources, Nabil al-Hassan, and Iran's Deputy Minister of Energy Ghasem Taghizadeh-Khamesi announced Tehran's readiness to continue cooperation on the implementation of water and sewage projects in Syria.

The Syrian deputy minister of water resources also stressed the country's interest in taking advantage of Iran's water and sewage industry capabilities.

According to Iran and Syria MoU in the field of water and sewage, the two sides will form a joint committee and meet once every three months to monitor and evaluate the progress of the provisions of the memorandum.
