The Iranian Chargé d'Affaires in Baghdad and the Chairman of the Iraqi Supreme Judicial Council discussed ways to expand bilateral judicial cooperation.

Iran PressMiddle East: On Tuesday, "Musa Alizadeh Tabatabai", the charge d'affaires of the Iranian embassy in Baghdad, met with "Fayek Zidan", the head of the Iraqi Supreme Judicial Council, and appreciated the cooperation of the Iraqi judiciary with Iran.

He also stressed bilateral cooperation between the two sides.

The head of the Iraqi Supreme Judicial Council, Fayek Zidan, also stressed the need for judicial cooperation between Tehran and Baghdad and invited Ebrahim Raeisi, the Chief of the Judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran, to visit Iraq.

Fayek Zidan visited the Islamic Republic of Iran last year.
