Iraqi MPs accuse Saudi Arabia of trying to dominate over Iraq under financial cover

Some members of the Iraqi parliament have said that Riyadh is seeking to dominate Iraq under the pretext of investing through transferring Iraqi projects to Saudi Arabia.

Iran PressMiddle East: According to Al-Furat News on Sunday, Iraqi MP Naeem Al-Aboudi said that Saudi Arabia's investment in Iraqi projects is aimed at gaining control of large areas of the country in the provinces of Anbar, Najaf, Muthanna, and Karbala.

Another member of the Iraqi parliament, Abdul Amir al-Taiban, said that the Saudi agricultural investment project in Iraq was nothing more than a new tool to destroy the country's economy and that the Iraqi people could invest in their own land if the government provided the necessary tools.
