Tehran (IP)- Minister of Science, Research, and Technology said that virtual education is a good opportunity for students who live in rural areas and intend to continue their studies at university.

Iran PressIran News: On the sidelines of the start of the new academic year, Minister of Science, Research and Technology, Mansour Gholami in response to Iran Press question said that although training in universities is important to us and E-learning should be maintained as a capital.

"Amid the coronavirus pandemic, our universities, by the proper performance between universities and their scientific and intellectual ability, were able to quickly start virtual education and offer it all over the country.", the official went on to say.

He stressed that we need to strengthen our capacities in the field of E-learning for the coming semester.

The start of the new academic year in Iran was held on Sunday morning in the virtual presence of president Hasan Rouhani and with the Minister of Science Research and Technology Mansour Gholami, Health Minister Saeed Namaki in attendance at the University of Tehran.
