Tehran (IP) - During weekdays ending up to September 10, 2020, while over 923,380 MT (Metric tons) of commodities worth over 2,000 million USD were traded on the Iran Mercantile Exchange, the trading volume and value experienced growth of %98 and %70, respectively.

Iran Press/Iran News: According to the report from IME International Affairs and PR, last week, on the domestic and export metal and mineral trading floor of IME, 477,117 MT of various products worth close to 1,300 million USD were traded.

On this trading floor, 462,825 MT of steel, 6,540 MT of aluminum, 8,180 MT of copper, 120 MT of molybdenum concentrates, 12 MT of precious metal concentrates, 140 MT of zinc ingot as well as 10 kg of gold bullion were traded by customers.

The report declares that on domestic and export oil and petrochemical trading floors of IME, 440,856 MT of different commodities with the total value of 712 million USD were traded.

On this trading floor, 106,400 MT of VB feed stock, 165,124 MT of bitumen, 69,771 MT of polymer products, 42,229 MT of chemical products, 39,500 MT of lube cut oil, 1,310 MT of insulation, 2,107 MT of base oil, 140 MT of argon as well as 14,275 MT of sulfur were traded.

Furthermore, 5,407 MT of commodities were traded on the same trading floor.
