Kerman (IP) - Qadrouni Reservoir Dam in Ravar city of Kerman province, southeast of Iran, is the sixth dam constructed in the country during the current (Persian) year.

Iran PressIran news: Qadrouni dam can supply the drinking water of Ravar city and prevents the floods caused by the two big rivers in the city, Hotcan, and Qadrounieh. 

The dam was refilled with water on Monday in the presence of Iran's Minister of Energy Reza Ardakanian.

With a volume of 44 million cubic meters of the water reservoir, a height of 41 meters from the river bed, and a crown of 195 meters, the dam was constructed with a credit of about 100 billion tomans in investment.

Also at the same time and in the 19th week of the campaign for launching utility projects in the country, the 132/400 KVstation of Jiroft city, the station of Kahnooj city, as well as four super-distribution projects and power transmission lines, were launched in Kerman province with an investment of 507 billion tomans.
