Tehran (IP)- Foreign ministry spokesman, Saeed Khatibzedeh said that the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) shored up Iran and IAEA’s relations and this relation is really important for us.

Iran Press/Iran News: Attending his first weekly conference on Monday, Foreign Ministry spokesman, Saeed Khatibzadeh responded to Iran Press’ question regarding the aims and consequences of Rafael Grossi to Tehran.

Khatibzedeh said that the most number of visits to Iran in history was conducted based on JCPOA by CEO and experts of IAEA, which shows the importance of Iran and IAEA’s relations.

Although there were some problems, negations were held with IAEA’s officials and the results will be announced soon, he added.

The spokesman went on to say as long as IAEA remains independent, impartial, and a non-political agency, there are no differences between Iran and IAEA.

Referring to Rafael Grossi’s travel to Tehran Khatibzedeh said he is planned to hold meetings with Iranian officials including foreign minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, and head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Aliakbar Salehi.

He also pointed to 'snap back' and said that the term is belonging to journalism and has no meaning in JCPOA and also in  2231 resolution.
