Tehran (IP) - Iran's minister of health referred to the fatigue of the medical staff in the face of the outbreak of COVID-19, saying that the greatest reward to medical staff is the observance of health instructions by the public in Muharram.

Iran Press/Iran News: On the occasion of the National Doctors Day, Saeed Namaki congratulated all the physicians of the world, especially Iranian physicians, and addressed them: "By no criteria can medical work be compared. I would greatly appreciate your kindness and I am proud to have such dear friends in the Health Sector."

The minister of health emphasized: "During the days of Muharram, I hope that people will cooperate more with my colleagues and do not allow the outbreak of coronavirus disease to affect the medical staff again."

"Let them have enough strength and power for the possible hard days of autumn. One day, I hope we will see that the COVID-19 catastrophe will be removed from our country," concluded Namaki.

Namaki's remarks came during a ceremony held on Thursday in Tehran to pay tribute to health defenders on the occasion of the National Doctors Day where he together with Iran's First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri, were present as the keynote speakers of the event.
