Iran Press/Iran news: Iranian Health Ministry Spokeswoman Sima Sadat Lari said on Saturday (August 15) that the total number of coronavirus cases in the country has reached 341,070.
Sima Sadat Lari said on Saturday with 161 new deaths in the past 24 hours, the death toll from the virus has reached 19,492.
Unfortunately, 2,245 new cases were diagnosed since yesterday, 943 of whom were hospitalized and the total number of COVID-19 patients reached 341,070, Lari said.
She also put the number of those who have so far recovered from the viral infection at 295,630.
According to the spokeswoman, 3,911 patients are under severe conditions.
The spokeswoman also added that 2,836,252 coronavirus diagnostic tests have been carried out in Iran so far.
