Tehran (IP) - More than 8,800 Iranian university professors say because of the Iranian people's resistance, the 'Hot Summer' in Iran has turned into a 'War Summer' in the United States.

Iran Press/Iran News: More than 8,800 university professors wrote a letter to the Iranian nation, saying: "The United States had promised the international community that Iran would see unrest in the summer and a Hot Summer, but now, because of your resistance, the Iranian people, this trend has been reversed and the states, the streets of American cities has become a street battle scene; the Hot Summer in Iran has turned into a War Summer in the United States."

In a new anti-Iran plot so-called Hot Summer project aimed at overthrowing the Islamic Republic, Washington sought to turn protest rallies in Iran into anti-establishment movements.

The eight-page letter reads: "During the US Presidential elections, Donald Trump, who promised to expel immigrants and withdraw from Iran Nuclear Deal, also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) now is alone, going to an underground shelter to prevent US justice-seeking people from entering the White House."

"Concrete wall was built in front of his office, so it can be said that he is finished!" the letter stated.

"But the architects of Iranian strategy, by maneuvering in the Persian Gulf and attacking a replica of the US aircraft carrier, in the vicinity of its forces, disgraced the United States and humiliated its president," they added in the letter.

"The two main American parties are a big part of the Iranian problem, and Iran should not wait for one of them to win or lose the election," the professors highlighted.

Analysts say a US anti-Iran plot started from 2018 aimed at overthrowing the Islamic Republic has been foiled. They say under the so-called Hot Summer project Washington sought to turn protest rallies in Iran into anti-establishment movements.
