Iran stress on safety of flights over Iran

The Civil Aviation Organization of Iran announced the security of flights over the skies of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Iran Press/Iran News:  Referring to the measures taken in the field of development, communication, and implementation of health protocols in the field of air after the global pandemic of coronavirus, he added: "Continuous monitoring and inspections of the behavior of airports and airlines are underway."

The Deputy for Aviation and International Affairs at the Iranian Civil Aviation Organization stated that negotiations have been held with EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency) and some European countries to address concerns and provide reassurance about Iran's airspace.

He added: "The return of international airlines to Iran after the crisis caused by Coronavirus is a sign of positive, safety and security measures implemented in Iranian airports."

Recently, the Iranian Air Traffic Controllers Association (Iran ATCA) has assured the safety of the national and international flights inside Iranian airspace.

Iran ATCA Secretary-General Ayyub Rezai Thamrin made the assurance in a letter to International Air Traffic Controllers’ Association (IFTACA) new President and CEO Duncan Auld, according to Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company.  

The official reminded the IFTACA about recent political tensions that brought about a huge influx of flights to the Iranian airspace such as ISIS, Ukraine tensions, Qatar siege as well as India, Pakistán tensión, adding that “my colleagues proved their abilities to accept and control the safety of all these flights. We will continue our professional work”.
