Iran Press/ Iran News: Sima Sadat Lari said on Tuesday about the latest data on the coronavirus in the country and the deaths caused by the virus, "According to the definitive laboratory findings and from yesterday to July 14 in the country, 2,521 new patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed in the country and the number of patients with this disease reached 262,173."
"1,820 of the new patients were hospitalized," she added.
The Spokeswoman said, "Unfortunately, in the past 24 hours, 179 COVID-19 patients have lost their lives, and 13,211` people have lost their lives in the country to date."
The official stated, "3,389 patients are in intensive care units."
So far, around 2,023,079 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted in the country," the Health Ministry spokeswoman said.
According to the spokeswoman, the provinces of West and East Azerbaijan Ilam, Bushehr Khuzestan, Khorasan Razavi, and Mazandaran Province, Zanjan, Kurdistan, Kermanshah, Golestan, and Hormozgan are in the red. The provinces of Tehran, Fars, Kerman, Ardabil, Isfahan, Alborz, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, South Khorasan, Lorestan, Hamadan Yazd and North Khorasan are on alert.
