During his weekly press conference, Seyyed Abbas Mousavi stated that after 13 years of intensive international negotiations, we reached an agreement called JCPOA in 2015. US pulled out of the JCPOA in 2018 and reinstated harsh sanctions on Iran, but the international community is well aware of the Washington bullying regime.

Iran Press/Iran News: Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Seyyed Abbas Mousavi holds a press conference on Monday. During his weekly press conference, Seyyed Abbas Mousavi stated that "After 13 years of intensive international negotiations, we reached an agreement called JCPOA (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action) on July 14, 2015. JCPOA was approved a week later by a Security Council resolution."

He further added that prior to Trump's inauguration, despite the difficulties, JCPOA had a balanced implementation process, but after Trump's arrival, with the unilateral and illegal withdrawal of the United States from the agreement on May 8, 2018, sanctions against Iran were fully imposed again.

"The unbalanced implementation of JCPOA and US pressure led to the decision by the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran to suspend Iran's nuclear commitments step by step one year after the withdrawal of the United States," he added.

According to Mousavi, Trump is trying to win a victory in his foreign policy towards Iran due to the election in November 2020. The international community is well aware of the bullying regime of the United States.
