Pakistani Prime Minister, Imran Khan

The Pakistani Prime Minister said warned a catastrophe such as the massacre of Bosnian Muslims in Srebrenica by Serbia is awaiting Kashmiri people.

Iran Press/Asia: Imran Khan warned on Sunday over the Indian troops' murdering Kashmiri people and said Indian soldiers massacre Kashmiri people without worrying about prosecution.

More than eight million Kashmiris have been besieged by 800,000 Indian troops, and it has been difficult to provide them with basic living facilities for about a year, Imran Khan added.

Deploying thousands of troops, India has taken the control of parts of Kashmir for years and tens of thousands of Kashmiri people have been killed in violence over the past three decades.

The people of Kashmir have called for the implementation of a UN Security Council resolution on a referendum to determine Kashmir's status, but the Indian government has always opposed the request.

Since 5 August 2019, Parts of Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir have been under lockdown, with mobile networks, internet services, and telephone landline services being cut by authorities in India.

Indian authorities, however, claim that daytime restrictions have been lifted in 90% of the region.

India and Pakistan both hold Kashmir in parts and claim it in full. China also controls part of the contested region, but it is India and Pakistan who have fought two wars over Kashmir.
